At Home Christmas Party

This past weekend Nathan and I attended my company Christmas party at the Perot Museum in Dallas, TX.  We had so much fun walking around and interacting with all the exhibits.

Busy busy weekend

Nathan and I went to his company Christmas party which was held at the Ranger stadium, Globe Life Park inside the Jack Daniel's suite.  Everything was decorated beautifully.   Nathan said he doesn't really know that many people outside of his office so it was basically a good excuse for us to dress up really nice and go out on a date. 

I also got to go to lunch with Andrea and Dixon this weekend. We ate at a place called Bellagreen in Dallas.  That area has really changed from the last time I was out there. The last thing I remember in that area was a huge Condom Sense store, LOL!  Now there are tons of trendy little restaurants and salons in that area.  The food was decent, but for a kids burger, pasta plate and three tacos it was $41. A little pricey, but good, so I will be back there next year. I would rather try the other restaurants first then decide which place is worth the money, because I am sure they're all overpriced.

On Saturday my sister and I had a girlie makeup night with my cousin Natalie before her birthday on Sunday.  We all sat around trying each other’s makeup on and seeing what kind of cool stuff we had. I found a good primer (Lorac POREfection) I really liked, a new mascara (Gifted Amazonian Clay) and the most AWESOME  highlighter kit ever (Tarteist Pro Glow).    

Family Weekend at the Love Gun Lodge

This weekend my sister and I hung out at uncle Tim’s lake house.  Natalie and her son Gideon came as well.  We had dinner at The Barrel House and cruised around for a bit on the Love Gun Cruiser.  We ended the evening watching Caveman.  The Barrel House has an amazing Ahi Tuna Salad that I’ve ordered every time I’ve gone there.  My sister got a flatbread item that looked amazing that I might try next time.  I don’t remember laughing all too much watching Caveman the first time, but my nephew loved all the fart and butt jokes.  

Thanksgiving 2018

What a great thanksgiving this year!  The day before Nathan, Gabe and I went to have dinner with his father at Cheddar's. Thanksgiving day we broke up the family visits.  The first half of the day we spent it with Nathans family at his mothers and then we ended the evening at my families house.

 

Big Bend National Park

Holy shit this place is amazing. Yet another place I recommend going. 

Some of the rocks look like they were picked up and placed perfectly throughout the park. 

It was breathtaking!
